Itinerary

Day 01:

Meet our guide at BIWTA Ghat, Khulna at 5:30 AM. After boarding the luxury vessel MV GLORY, we will set sail for the Sundarbans at approximately 6:30 AM. Enjoy a delightful breakfast on board while taking in the serene beauty of the river and listening to fascinating stories about the region’s rich history and folklore.

After 3–4 hours of cruising, we will enter the Sundarbans, navigating through winding rivers with ample opportunities to spot diverse wildlife. Our first stop will be Andharmanik or Harbaria, where you can explore a scenic walking trail, climb a watchtower, and observe the unique mangrove ecosystem along with its resident wildlife.

By evening, we will reach Kotka, where the vessel will anchor for the night. Experience the tranquility of the forest from the river as you enjoy a peaceful overnight stay on board, near the Kotka Forest Station.

Day 02:

Shortly after sunrise, embark on a serene boat ride through the narrow creeks to experience the unique mangrove vegetation and observe wildlife up close. Our next stop will be the Kotka Forest Office area, renowned for excellent wildlife-spotting opportunities.

After a leisurely breakfast on board, you may choose from a range of activities, including a hike to a pristine, secluded beach where you can dip your feet into the waters of the Bay of Bengal.

In the afternoon, our journey continues towards Kochikhali and Dimer Char, passing through spectacular canals lined with mangrove forests and teeming with diverse wildlife. At Kochikhali, enjoy another boat trip through the narrow waterways for a closer look at the fascinating mangrove ecosystem.

As the day draws to a close, witness a breathtaking sunset at Dimer Char before our vessel begins the return journey under the night sky.

Day 03:

In the morning, explore the Crocodile Breeding Center and mini zoo at Karamjol. After the visit, the

ship will continue sailing toward Khulna. On the way back, enjoy lunch on the boat. Once we arrive

in Khulna, disembark and arrange your preferred transport home.

DO’S WHILE IN THE JUNGLE

While inside the jungle; never be alone; Be in a group all time.
No harm to any plants in the forest & does not disturb the wild animals.
For any problem always talk to your guide only.
Avoid the striking color in the jungle, use jungle-friendly dress.
Don’t use perfume inside the jungle, as it imitates the Wildlife.
Sundarban is a reserved forest and without any habitation by human. For any unpredicted circumstances keep cool and cooperate with the guide to control the situation.

Despite the best of intentions, however, force majeure can intervene, and glitches can and do occasionally occur – after all, you are traveling in Bangladesh with the challenge of traffic & infrastructural issues.
No phone signal works inside the deeper forest. But at some point, you will get a phone signal to call the emergency. If you use Bangladeshi Teletalk SIM, we’ll get better coverage in a remote area like Kotka.
Make yourself silent for the boat trip or walking into the forest. The best way to explore Sundarban is to keep silence and look.
