Itinerary

Day 01:

At 6:00 AM, our guide will receive us from Khulna Jail Ghat and take us to the launch (boat) using a trawler. Upon boarding, rooms will be allocated. The journey will begin towards the Andharmanik Eco-Tourism Spot.Breakfast will be served at 8:30 AM. On the way, you’ll see Rupsha Bridge, a thermal power station, and the Mongla Port. We expect to reach the Andharmanik Eco-Tourism Spot around 12:00–1:00 PM. Before lunch, we’ll explore the eco-tourism area. There is a freshwater pond for wildlife to drink from, a watchtower for observing the forest and animals, and an 800-meter-long concrete walking trail. After the tour, we’ll return to the ship and lunch will be served.

The journey will then continue toward Katka Wildlife Sanctuary. While on board, we’ll enjoy the scenic beauty of the Sundarbans. On the way, we’ll pass by Tambulbunia and the Harintana Forest Office.

We are expected to reach Katka around 8:00–9:00 PM, followed by dinner. Overnight stay will be on the ship.

Day 02:

Early morning, around 6:00 AM, we will explore the Katka Office area, including Tin Tila (Three Hills). After returning to the ship and having breakfast, we will depart for Jamtola Sea Beach.On the way, we’ll walk through watchtowers and Tiger Point. We’ll spend about 1 hour at the beach before returning to the ship. (The round-trip walk from Katka to Jamtola Beach is approximately 6 kilometers.) After returning, we’ll depart via a small canal toward Kochikhali Wildlife Sanctuary. We expect to reach Kochikhali by 3:00 PM. Our first stop will be Dimer Char, a floating sandbar in the sea. We’ll stay there until around 4:30 PM before heading back to Kochikhali. Kochikhali is known for frequent deer sightings. We’ll cruise through the Kochikhali Canal and return to the ship before evening. The ship will then head toward the Chandpai Forest Station.

Day 03:

After breakfast, we’ll visit Karamjal, a mini zoo and crocodile breeding center.There is a beautiful 1.5-kilometer-long wooden walking trail here, along with a tall watchtower and a large map of the Sundarbans. After the visit, we’ll return to the ship and begin our journey back to Khulna. We are expected to arrive in Khulna by around 5:00 PM, followed by snacks. After snacks, the tour will be officially concluded.

DO’S WHILE IN THE JUNGLE

While inside the jungle; never be alone; Be in a group all time.
No harm to any plants in the forest & does not disturb the wild animals.
For any problem always talk to your guide only.
Avoid the striking color in the jungle, use jungle-friendly dress.
Don’t use perfume inside the jungle, as it imitates the Wildlife.
Sundarban is a reserved forest and without any habitation by human. For any unpredicted circumstances keep cool and cooperate with the guide to control the situation.

The time coverage will depend on tide & fog.
The tour will be flexible and the coordinator can rearrange the tour considering the situation.
Despite the best of intentions, however, force majeure can intervene, and glitches can and do occasionally occur – after all, you are traveling in Bangladesh with the challenge of traffic & infrastructural issues.
No phone signal works inside the deeper forest. But at some point, you will get a phone signal to call the emergency. If you use Bangladeshi Teletalk SIM, we’ll get better coverage in a remote area like Kotka.
Make yourself silent for the boat trip or walking into the forest. The best way to explore Sundarban is to keep silence and look.
