Itinerary

Day 01: Khulna- Harbaria- Kochikhali (on board)

The tour coordinator will meet you at Jailkhana Ghat/Rupsha Ghat in Khulna for a short briefing regarding the tour and assist with boarding formalities. Once boarding is complete, the boat will begin cruising south through the world’s largest mangrove forest. After a few hours, the boat will stop at the forest station to complete official formalities and pick up armed forest guards who will stay onboard for safety. We’ll make our first stop at Harbaria Eco-Center, a popular walking trail in the Sundarbans. Continue cruising towards Kochikhali, where the boat will anchor for the night. Lunch & dinner on board. Overnight at the vessel.

Day 02: Kochikhali – Jamtola Sea Beach – Jamtola Watch Tower – Tiger Tila – Kotka (on board)

Early in the morning, enjoy a peaceful country boat trip through the narrow canals of Kochikhali. You’ll experience the serene beauty of dense mangrove forest, birdlife, and perhaps even spot pugmarks of the Royal Bengal Tiger. After breakfast, continue the journey towards Jamtola Sea Beach, a secluded beach deep inside the forest. A scenic walk through the forest leads you to Jamtola Watch Tower, offering a panoramic view of the vast Sundarbans. Next, visit Tiger Tila, a sandy area believed to be a resting spot for tigers and home to various bird and animal species. Proceed to Kotka, another highlight of the Sundarbans known for its open grasslands and rich wildlife. Explore the area on foot to see spotted deer, monkeys, reptiles, wild boars, and a variety of birds. The boat will be anchored at Kotka or a nearby safe anchorage for the night. Lunch & dinner on board. Overnight at the vessel.

Day 03: Kotka – Karamjal – Khulna

After an early morning canal ride at Kotka, the boat will begin the return journey towards Karamjal, a well-known wildlife rescue center in the Sundarbans. Here, you’ll visit the crocodile breeding center, deer sanctuary, and possibly spot wild boars, lizards, and numerous bird species. Later, the boat will cruise back to Khulna. The tour concludes upon arrival, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Sundarban's natural wonders. Breakfast & lunch on board. Tour ends.

DO’S WHILE IN THE JUNGLE

While inside the jungle; never be alone; Be in a group all time.
No harm to any plants in the forest & does not disturb the wild animals.
For any problem always talk to your guide only.
Avoid the striking color in the jungle, use jungle-friendly dress.
Don’t use perfume inside the jungle, as it imitates the Wildlife.
Sundarban is a reserved forest and without any habitation by human. For any unpredicted circumstances keep cool and cooperate with the guide to control the situation.

Despite the best of intentions, however, force majeure can intervene, and glitches can and do occasionally occur.
No phone signal works inside the deeper forest. But at some point, you will get a phone signal to call the emergency. If you use Bangladeshi Teletalk SIM, we’ll get better coverage in a remote area like Kotka.
Make yourself silent for the boat trip or walking into the forest. The best way to explore Sundarban is to keep silence and look.
