Itinerary

Day 01:

On the scheduled day, our guide will receive you at the Jelkhana Ghat in Khulna and escort you to the ship. After completing your cabin check-in and freshening up, breakfast will be served. Before arriving at Mongla Port, you will pass by Rupsha Bridge, Khulna Shipyard, and Rampal Power Plant. Around 2 to 3 PM, the ship will reach Andermanik or Harbaria, where you will visit either Harbaria or the Andermanik Eco-Tourism Center. Afterward, the ship will navigate through small canals inside the forest towards the Kotka Reserve Forest. You are expected to arrive at Kotka around 9 to 10 PM, where the ship will stay overnight.

Day 02:

Early in the morning, enjoy canal cruising around Kotka by country boat. Then visit the watchtower and proceed to Jamtola for a walking tour through the dense forest and the sea beach. After returning, have breakfast on board. Next, visit the Kotka Shornokhola Reserve Forest, which is known for its large population of deer. After the visit, return to the ship and depart for Kochikhali. The ship will cruise through narrow canals brushing past the forest — a breathtaking view. Then visit Dimer Char for sightseeing and sea bathing. After lunch, explore the Kochikhali Reserve Forest and experience the thrilling wilderness. After sunset, return to the ship for a BBQ dinner accompanied by cultural performances. Overnight stay will be on the ship.

Day 03:

After breakfast, visit the Karamjal Eco-Tourism Center. At around 10 AM, visit the crocodile breeding center at Karamjal. In the afternoon, the ship will depart for Khulna. Arrival in Khulna is expected around 4 to 5 PM, followed by onward travel to Dhaka.

DO’S WHILE IN THE JUNGLE

While inside the jungle; never be alone; Be in a group all time.
No harm to any plants in the forest & does not disturb the wild animals.
For any problem always talk to your guide only.
Avoid the striking color in the jungle, use jungle-friendly dress.
Don’t use perfume inside the jungle, as it imitates the Wildlife.
Sundarban is a reserved forest and without any habitation by human. For any unpredicted circumstances keep cool and cooperate with the guide to control the situation.

Despite the best of intentions, however, force majeure can intervene, and glitches can and do occasionally occur – after all, you are traveling in Bangladesh with the challenge of traffic & infrastructural issues.
No phone signal works inside the deeper forest. But at some point, you will get a phone signal to call the emergency. If you use Bangladeshi Teletalk SIM, we’ll get better coverage in a remote area like Kotka.
Make yourself silent for the boat trip or walking into the forest. The best way to explore Sundarban is to keep silence and look.
