Day 01: (on board)
At 7:30 AM, our guide will receive you from Khulna Jailkhana Ghat and take you to the ship. The ship will start sailing along the Rupsha and Poshur rivers, passing by Khulna Shipyard, Rupsha Bridge, Rampal Power Station, and the Mongla Port on the way to our destination — Harbaria (Ashar Manik). After having lunch, we will disembark at Harbaria Eco-Tourism Center. Moving ahead or behind along the designated foot trail, we will explore the surroundings in an orderly manner. Walking along the edge of the fresh-water pond, we will enter the deep forest. On both sides, you will find dense cane groves. This forest is rich with sundari, golpata, and gewya trees. If we are lucky, we may come across tiger footprints or possibly even spot a tiger. Crabs hiding in the muddy banks may occasionally cross your path. After walking approximately 1 mile along the trail, we will return to the ship after visiting the wooden watchtower built over the pond.In the evening, snacks will be served on the ship. The ship will then continue its journey toward the coastal sanctuary Kotka Wildlife Sanctuary, located near the Bay of Bengal.
Day 02: Kochikhali – Jamtola Sea Beach – Jamtola Watch Tower – Tiger Tila – Kotka (on board)
Very early in the morning, after waking up, we will go on a canal cruise in a small local boat (country boat) to enjoy the serene beauty of the forest and its wildlife. From there, we will explore the Tiger Tila area, deer grazing fields, and the deep forest on foot — walking about 2.5 kilometers to reach the Jamtola Sea Beach. At Jamtola, you will witness the breathtaking meeting point of the world’s largest mangrove forest – Sundarbans, and the Bay of Bengal — a truly unique and memorable experience.
Afterward, we will return to the ship, have breakfast, and then set off for Tiger Tila again. To reach Tiger Tila, we’ll walk through muddy trails, dense cane groves, and the mysterious Goran Forest. On the way, you may get to see herds of deer from a very close distance. Then we will return to the ship, which will now head towards the Deer Sanctuary, also known as Kochikhali. At Kochikhali, we will take a silent walk through the dense, shady forest. Herds of deer may lift their heads and run away as soon as they see you — and in that moment, you’ll understand why this place is often called "The Dining Room of the Tiger."After this peaceful forest walk, we’ll return to the ship and head towards Dublar Char or Dimer Char, known for its beautiful, serene sea beach. We will enjoy the natural beauty there for a while, then return to the ship. The ship will then depart for Karamjal.
Day 03: Kotka – Karamjal – Khulna
Karamjal is the only crocodile breeding center in Bangladesh for freshwater species. There, you will see both small and large crocodiles, different species of turtles, playful monkeys swinging through the trees, and deer that you can hand-feed with grass. After this visit, we will return to the ship and begin our journey back towards Khulna/Mongla.
