Tourist Visa for SPAIN- Information
TOURISM VISA
Documents required:
1. Spanish Schengen visa application form (filled in using capital letters with a black ball point pen), duly filled in and signed by the applicant. For minors (under 18 years), the application form must be signed by both the parents. Photocopies of passports / ID cards of both the parents must be attached to the application.
2. Two passport-size color photographs (35 mm x 45 mm), full face, no glasses, no head-dress and plain white background has to be glued on the right side of each form..
3. Passport with a validity of at least 6 months beyond the date of intended stay (original valid passport & original expired passports). Original and photocopy of passport or official travel document. Clear photocopy of biodata pages and all Schengen/UK/USA/CANADA/AUSTRALIA visa pages, as well as Refusal seal pages of the passport/s, both present and previous. If immediate previous passport is lost then a G.D (English) copy for that passport is required.
3.1. Bangladeshi nationals: photocopy of the page with the personal data (and other relevant pages) and previous visas.
3.2. Non-Bangladesh nationals: photocopy of pages with personal data (and other relevant pages), previous visas, and the Bangladeshi residence visa, which it has to be valid at least three months after the expiry date of the Schengen visa.
All passports have to have been issued during the previous 10 years and should be valid for at least 6 months longer than the validity of the visa applied for.
4. Cover letter from the applicant, explaining in detail the purpose of the visit which must be translated in Spanish language or written directly in Spanish language, addressed to the Embassy of Spain.
5. Travel insurance (covering 30.000,00 €) including repatriation from any Schengen State in case of emergency. The medical insurance has to cover all your stay in all Schengen States. The insurance must be valid throughout the territory of the Member States and cover the entire duration of the travel i.e. Bangladesh to Bangladesh.
6. Photocopy (full page) of your booking of return ticket. A copy of flight bookings for the entire sector of travel.
7. Hotel confirmation or hotel voucher for the whole stay or other documents proving accommodation.
8. Economic means: Original Bank Statement with solvency (Personal and company) and credit card statements for the last 6 months which should be updated. The statements should be signed by the bank / branch manager and should be bear seal / stamp of the bank/branch manager.
8.1. All the documents that the Applicant may consider appropriate in order to show his / her personal economic situation and attested copies of any other documents that the applicant may decide to provide and all the documents should be translated in Spanish language (e.g. FDR, Sanchoy Patro from Govt. financial institution, Ownership document of Land/Home etc.). These documents are necessary even if another person, company or institution bears the expenses of the trip.
9.1. If visiting family or friends, proof of sponsorship, including proof of family/ties with the sponsor, a letter of invitation, specific countries may request additional supporting documentation
9.2. If employed by a company in Bangladesh: Certificate of employment mentioning:
(i) Address, telephone number, and fax number of the company;
(ii) Name and position in the company of the countersigning officer;
(iii) Name of applicant, position, salary, and number of years of service;
(iv) Certificate of leave absence.
(v) Salary slips for the last 6 months and leave letter from the Applicants Employer (translated into Spanish).
9.3. If self-employed:
(i) Certificate of incorporation of the company or organization in Bangladesh and/or Memorandum and articles of association and/or Trade License legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) and afterwards translated in the Spanish language
(ii) Income Tax Returns (translated into Spanish) for the last one year/ TIN Certificate
9.4. If student:
(i) Proof of enrolment in an educational establishment in Bangladesh;
(ii) Certificate of leave absence if travelling during the school year. The certificate should mention the full address, telephone number, the permission of absence; name and function of the person granting permission;
(iii) If school trips, a letter from the school mentioning the purpose, the duration, and the destination.
9.5. If traveling with spouse and/or children: Marriage certificate issued by a responsible authority and legalized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) and afterward translated in the Spanish language.
10. Documents related to civil status: All public documents (e.g. Nikah Nama, Marriage certificate, Birth certificate) issued by concern office in English and must be legalized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) and afterwards translated in Spanish language.
(i) Marriage certificate (if married applicants); Marriage certificate issued by a responsible authority and legalized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) and afterward translated in the Spanish language.
(ii) Divorce certificate "talak namah" (divorced applicants);
(iii) Death certificate (widows or widowers);
(iv) Birth certificate (children).
10.1. If minor (under 18 years): In case a minor (under 18 years) is not accompanied by both parents, a no objection letter from the parent not travelling must be submitted in Spanish language. Please note that no objection letter has to be signed IN the Spanish Embassy in front of a visa officer.
(i) Consent of parents or custodians if both parents are not travelling together;
(ii) Photocopy of passport of parents or legal guardian;
(iii) Proof of economic means of parents or legal guardian (refer to point 1.);
(iv) Original birth certificate of the minor issued by the responsible authority.
11. Personal letter of introduction where the reason for the trip and visiting itinerary appear clearly stated.
12. The whole file must be one-sided photocopied in A4 format in order to be properly scanned so a full set of photocopies must accompany the application
