Day 01: Arrival at Dhaka
Upon arrival at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, you will be welcomed at Terminal-2 by our representative and guide, who will transfer you to your pre-confirmed hotel of choice.The journey will start with an orientation by the guide. Dinner will be served at the hotel, followed by an overnight stay in Dhaka.
Day-02: Dhaka – Bogra, 200 km, 6-8 hrs drive approx.
Buffet breakfast at the hotel followed by check-out. Depart for Bogra via Tangail. En route, visit Tangail to explore Bangladesh’s handloom heritage, where you can observe the weaving of traditional Bengali women’s dresses, the Sharee. Next, visit crop fields such as paddy and mustard at UBINIG, an organisation promoting biodiversity-based ecological agriculture aimed at resisting the economic and technological processes that turn land into barren fields and industrial deserts. Enjoy lunch here with organic foods. Continue the journey to Bogra. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay in Bogra.
Day-03: Bogra – Rajshahi, 150 km, 3-4 hrs drive approx
Buffet breakfast at hotel and check-out. En-route visit Yogurt factory- the best and most delicious among all the Yogurt/Curds. It is prepared by boiling milk until it is slightly thickened, sweetening it with less added sugar, and allowing the milk to ferment to bright white in color. Grains auction (Vegetable/Banana/Rice Market) in Bogra. Then we will go to Paharpur - is the most spectacular and magnificent monument in Bangladesh and the second largest single Buddhist monastery south of the Himalayas. Lunch at a local restaurant. Later, arrive at Rajshahi and enjoy the boat trip & sunset from Padma River. Dinner at hotel with Smoked Hilsha Fish & overnight at hotel in Rajshahi.
Day-04: Rajshahi – Jessore, 200 km, 7-8 hrs drive approx.
After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, check out and depart for Jashore. En route, visit a Silk Factory to observe the processing and weaving of silk fabrics. Explore local markets for vegetables, mangoes, litchis, honey, jute, and fishing. Visit Puthia Rajbari in Puthia Upazila, Rajshahi, a palace built in 1895 for Rani Hemanta Kumari, showcasing Indo-Saracenic Revival architecture. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to Jashore to visit the Flower Fields. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay in Jashore.
Day-05: Jessore –Khulna- Barisal, 180 km, 5-6 hrs drive approx.
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to the shrimp farms and processing factory in Khulna. Here, you will observe the complete process of shrimp cultivation, from nursing to farming, and have the opportunity to speak with farmers to gain insights. Later, proceed to Barisal. En route, visit the Sixty Dome Mosque, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest mosque in Bangladesh from the Sultanate period, built by Khan Jahan Ali, governor of the Sundarbans. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay in Barisal.
Day-6: Barisal – Dhaka, 185 km, 5-6 hrs drive approx.
Buffet breakfast at the hotel followed by time to explore the floating markets featuring vegetables, rice, fruits, and boats. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Dhaka, crossing the mighty Padma River. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. En route, visit crop fields in Faridpur, time permitting. Arrive in Dhaka and check in at the hotel. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay in Dhaka.
Day-7: Dhaka
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to Dhaka’s largest wholesale market, where fish, vegetables, and grains from across Bangladesh are brought for trade. Lunch at a local restaurant. Time permitting, visit Dhaka’s largest cattle market, or proceed directly to Dhamrai to explore the country’s largest pottery village. For generations, Dhamrai has been home to traditional crafts like metal casting and pottery, though these occupations are now threatened by modernisation. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay in Dhaka.
Day-8: Dhaka – Sreemangal, 200 km, 8-9 hrs drive approx.
Buffet breakfast at the hotel, followed by check-out and time to explore the agriculture of eastern Bangladesh. En route, visit paddy fields and a processing factory to experience the cultivation of paddy and the processing of rice. Lunch at a local restaurant. Later, proceed to Sreemangal and check in at the hotel upon arrival. Visit the Lemon Garden, Pineapple Garden, and Rubber Garden in Sreemangal. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay in Sreemangal.
Day-9: Sreemangal – Sylhet, 120 km, 4-5 hrs drive approx.
After buffet breakfast at the hotel, spend time exploring the tea gardens and observing tea processing (subject to permission). Enjoy the famous Seven Layers Tea and experience the lifestyle of the tribal community, including lunch with locals featuring traditional foods. In the afternoon, proceed to Sylhet. Arrive in Sylhet in the evening and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Sylhet.
Day-10: Sylhet – Dhaka, 240 km, 6-7 hrs drive approx.
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and visit the Rubber, Pineapple, and Lemon Gardens. Explore Sylhet’s most attractive swamp forest, Ratargul Swamp Forest, and enjoy a one-hour boat trip. If visiting during August–September, experience Shapla Beel, a seasonal attraction in Dibir Haor, best explored in the early morning before sunrise, named after Bangladesh’s national flower, the water lily (shapla). Proceed to Dhaka, and upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Dhaka.
Day-11: Dhaka – Gazipur – Dhaka, 40 KM 2-3 hrs drive approx.
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Gazipur to visit the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI). If time permits, visit additional agro-firms. Later, return to the hotel. Enjoy free time in the evening, followed by dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay in Dhaka.
Day-12: Departure
Breakfast at hotel & check-out. Shopping at Aarong (local handicraft shop) & transfer to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport for onward flight.
[Note: Covering all the places will depend on the time coverage. Though we are visiting the agricultural fields, gardens, farms, local bazar and local lifestyle, we have to use the bucolic road. Please keep in mind the time coverage and unpleasant journey.]
