Day 1, (Monday, 08-Sep-2025): Arrival at Dhaka
Arrive at Dhaka International Airport, where you will be met and greeted by your representative and guide at Terminal 2. You will then be transferred to your pre-booked hotel of choice. Your Bangladeshi adventure begins with an orientation conducted by the guide. Overnight stay at the hotel in Dhaka.
Day 2, (Tuesday, 09-Sep-2025): Dhaka - Bogra [approx. 210 km and 6-7 hours’ drive]
After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, depart for Bogra. En route, visit Tangail Saree Village, where the traditional saree—an iconic garment worn by Bangladeshi women—is handcrafted on handlooms. Observe the artisans at work and take a walk through the village to experience the local lifestyle. Continue the journey by crossing the Jamuna Bridge, the 11th longest bridge in the world, spanning 4.8 km over the River Jamuna. Later, visit the historic Hatikumrul Navaratna Temple, located in Noborotno Para village of Hatikumrul Union, Ullapara Upazila, Sirajganj. This 300-year-old temple features architectural similarities to the Kantajew Temple of Dinajpur. Upon arrival in Bogra, check in to the hotel. Lunch and dinner will be served at a local or oriental restaurant. Overnight stay at the hotel in Bogra.
Day 3, (Wednesday, 10-Sep-2025): Bogra - Rajshahi (approx. 120 km and 4-5 hours’ drive)
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Rajshahi. En route, visit the ruins of Mahasthangarh / Pundranagar (closed on Sundays), an ancient capital dating back over 2,300 years. Recognised as one of the earliest urban archaeological sites in Bangladesh, Mahasthangarh reflects the glorious history of Pundranagar, the capital of ancient Pundra Vardhan Bhukti. The vast ruins, fortified by successive mud and brick walls, date back to at least the 3rd century B.C. Continue to Somapura Mahavihara (closed on Sundays), one of the most significant Buddhist monastic complexes in the Indian Subcontinent and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985. The quadrangular complex features 177 cells surrounding a central stupa, once used by monks for residence and meditation. Excavations have revealed numerous stupas, shrines, terracotta plaques, sculptures, coins, and ceramics. Lunch and dinner will be served at a local or oriental restaurant. Overnight stay at the hotel in Rajshahi. (Note: The Archaeological Museum is closed on Sundays and on Mondays until 2 PM, as well as on public holidays, though the main site remains open daily.)
Day 4, (Thursday, 11-Sep-2025): Rajshahi - Puthia - Kushtia - Khulna (approx. 280 km and 8-9 hours’ drive)
Early in the morning, enjoy breakfast at the hotel before proceeding to visit Puthia Rajbari, featuring the 5 Ratna Shiva Temple and the single-dome Govinda Temple in Rajshahi. Upon arrival in Kushtia, visit Lalon Shah’s Mazar and enjoy an authentic Baul music performance by local singers. Lalon, also known as Fakir Lalon Shah, was a revered Bengali philosopher, mystic, Baul saint, and social reformer whose teachings transcended caste and creed. His spiritual philosophy and songs have deeply influenced notable figures such as Rabindranath Tagore, Kazi Nazrul Islam, and Allen Ginsberg. Later, continue the journey to Khulna. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Lunch and dinner will be served at a local or oriental restaurant. Overnight stay at the hotel in Khulna.
Day 5, (Friday, 12-Sep-2025): Khulna - Sundarbans (approx. 75 km, 3-4 hours)
Before breakfast, board the ship and begin your journey into the heart of the Sundarbans National Park, the largest mangrove forest in the world, located in the delta of the Ganges and Brahmaputra Rivers. Spanning approximately 10,000 square kilometers—over half of which lies in Bangladesh and the rest in India—the Sundarbans is a remarkable bioclimatic region of the Bay of Bengal, characterised by its intricate network of islands and waterways. This vast mangrove ecosystem is home to a rich diversity of flora and fauna, most notably the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger. Enjoy an unforgettable two-day cruise through this extraordinary natural wonder. All meals will be served on board.
Day-06, (Saturday, 13-Sep-2025): Sundarbans
Early in the morning, the motorboat continues its journey through the narrow canals of the Sundarbans. The adventure intensifies as you transfer to a traditional country boat, gliding silently through the dense mangrove forest. Experience the serene wilderness while spotting pugmarks of the Royal Bengal Tiger, various species of kingfishers, and habitats of crocodiles. Later, accompanied by forest rangers and local experts, explore Katka Beach and the Katka Wildlife Sanctuary on a guided walking tour. Capture sights of spotted deer (chital), macaque monkeys, mongoose, wild boars, and endangered reptiles such as the Indian python, along with a variety of the 260 recorded bird species. Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay will be on board the vessel.
Day 7, (Sunday, 14-Sep-2025): Sundarbans-Mongla - Khulna
After breakfast on the boat, visit the Karamjal Tourist Center in the Sundarbans, a popular spot for observing wildlife and learning about mangrove conservation. After the visit, disembark from the boat and proceed to the Sixty Dome Mosque (Shait Gombuj Mosque)—a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest mosque from the Sultanate period in Bangladesh. Constructed between 1442 and 1459, it is regarded as one of the most impressive Islamic monuments in the Indian subcontinent. Continue to the Mausoleum of Khan Jahan Ali, an active place of worship and the only monument in Bagerhat that still preserves its original domed ceilings. The cenotaph at the entrance is adorned with colorful tiles inscribed with Quranic verses, usually covered by a red cloth embroidered with gold thread. Upon arrival in Khulna, check in to the hotel. Day-8, (Monday, 15-Sep-2025): Khulna – Dhaka (approx. 230 km and 5-6 hours’ drive)
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Dhaka. Upon arrival, visit Ahsan Manzil (closed on Thursdays), an iconic architectural landmark built in 1872 in the Indo-Saracenic Revival style on the banks of the Buriganga River. Enjoy an authentic rickshaw ride through the vibrant Shankhari Bazar, continuing to the Sadarghat River Front, one of Dhaka’s most dynamic and bustling areas located along the Buriganga River. Next, visit the National Museum (closed on Thursdays), established on 17 November 1983 through the incorporation of the former Dhaka Museum. The museum’s exhibits are organised into several sections, including ethnography and decorative arts, history and classical art, natural history, and world civilisation. After sightseeing, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Lunch and dinner will be served at a local restaurant. Overnight stay at the hotel in Dhaka.
Day-9, (Tuesday, 16-Sep-2025): Dhaka – Cox’s Bazar [our fly]
After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Dhaka Airport for your flight to Cox’s Bazar. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for check-in (early check-in subject to availability). Leave your luggage at the hotel and begin sightseeing with a visit to Himchari, located about 18 km south of Cox’s Bazar along the scenic sea beach. Continue to Inani Beach, an 18-kilometre stretch of coastline in Ukhia Upazila known for its natural beauty and tranquility. Later, visit Sabrang Zero Point, the southernmost border of Bangladesh offering stunning coastal views. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Cox’s Bazar.
Day-10, (Wednesday, 17-Sep-2025): Cox’s Bazar
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for sightseeing starting with a visit to Ramu Buddhist Village, believed by devotees to have been visited by Lord Buddha. Continue to Radiant Fish World, the largest marine aquarium in Bangladesh, showcasing a wide variety of sea fish species. In the afternoon, enjoy free time for personal activities or relaxation at the beach, followed by shopping at the local Rakhain Market, known for its traditional handicrafts and souvenirs. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Cox’s Bazar.
Day-11, (Thursday, 18-Sep-2025): Cox’s Bazar-Dhaka [an our fly]
After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Cox’s Bazar Airport for your flight to Dhaka. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for check-in (early check-in subject to availability) and leave your luggage. En route, visit Iskcon Prabartak Sri Krishna Mandir, a prominent Hindu temple in Chittagong. Continue to Sonargaon to explore Panam Nagar (open on Wednesday & Thursday weekends), one of the oldest capitals of ancient Bangladesh. Learn about Dhaka’s historical connection to the Silk Road via the Uttarapath (North Road), later refurbished in the 16th century as the Grand Trunk Road, linking Dhaka with Sonargaon. Visit the Sonargaon Folk Art Museum and Goaldi Mosque (open on Wednesday & Thursday weekends), one of the few surviving medieval monuments in the region. Explore the Loknath Brahmachari Temple, dedicated to the revered Hindu saint and philosopher of Bengal. Proceed to Dhaka and check in to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Dhaka.
Day-12, (Friday, 19-Sep-2024): Departure
After breakfast at hotel check-out and transfer to the airport for final departure. Tour ends with lots of memories.
