Day 1: Arrival at Dhaka

Day 2: Dhaka - Bogra [approx. 210 km and 6-7 hours’ drive]
After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, drive to Bogra. En route, visit Tangail Saree Village, where traditional Bangladeshi sarees are handcrafted by local artisans on handlooms. Take a walk through the village to experience rural life. Cross the Jamuna River via the world’s 11th longest bridge (4.8 km). Continue to Hatikumrul Navaratna Temple, located in Noborotno Para village of Hatikumrul Union, Ullapara Upazila, Sirajganj District. This 300-year-old temple features architectural similarities to the Kantajeu Temple of Dinajpur. Upon arrival in Bogra, check in to the hotel. Lunch and dinner will be served at a local or oriental restaurant. Overnight stay at the hotel in Bogra.
Day 3: Bogra - Rajshahi (approx. 120 km and 4-5 hours’ drive)
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Rajshahi. En route, visit the ruins of the 2,300-year-old ancient capital, Mahasthangarh/Pundranagar (closed on Sundays). Mahasthangarh is one of the earliest urban archaeological sites discovered in Bangladesh, reflecting the glorious 2,500-year history of Pundranagar, the capital of ancient Pundra Vardhan Bhukti. This earliest and largest city of Bengal, dating back to at least the 3rd century B.C., is fortified with successive mud and brick walls. Later, visit Somapura Mahavihara (closed on Sundays), one of the most prominent Buddhist viharas in the Indian Subcontinent and a significant archaeological site in Bangladesh. The quadrangular complex consists of 177 cells surrounding a central Buddhist stupa, historically used by monks for accommodation and meditation. Numerous stupas, shrines, terracotta plaques, stone sculptures, inscriptions, coins, and ceramics have been discovered here. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985. Lunch and dinner will be served at a local or oriental restaurant. Overnight stay at the hotel in Rajshahi.
Day 4: Rajshahi - Puthia - Kushtia - Khulna (approx. 280 km and 8-9 hours’ drive)
After an early morning breakfast at the hotel, visit Puthia Rajbari in Rajshahi, exploring its historic sites, including the Five-Ratna Shiva Temple and the single-dome Govinda Temple. Continue to Kushtia to visit Lalon Shah’s Mazar and enjoy a performance of Baul music by local singers. Lalon Shah, also known as Fakir Lalon Shah or Mahatma Lalon, was a prominent Bengali philosopher, Baul saint, mystic, songwriter, social reformer, and thinker. He is regarded as an icon of Bengali culture and influenced many poets and thinkers, including Rabindranath Tagore, Kazi Nazrul Islam, and Allen Ginsberg, while rejecting all distinctions of caste and creed. Afterwards, proceed to Khulna and check in at the hotel. Lunch and dinner will be served at a local or oriental restaurant. Overnight stay at the hotel in Khulna.
Day 5: Khulna - Sundarbans (approx. 75 km, 3-4 hours)
After breakfast, visit the Grameen Bank Project. Upon arrival at Mongla, board the cruise vessel to begin your journey through the mangrove forests of the Sundarbans. The first stop will be Harbaria Mangrove Forest, where you will disembark for a 30–40 minute guided trek. Lunch and dinner will be served on board. Overnight stay on the vessel in the Sundarbans.
Day 6: Sundarbans-Mongla - Khulna
After breakfast on board, visit the Karamjal Tourist Center (Stop-2) in the Sundarbans. Disembark from the boat and proceed to the Sixty Dome Mosque (Shait Gombuj Mosque) (closed on Sundays), a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest mosque in Bangladesh from the Sultanate period, often described as “the most impressive Muslim monument in the Indian subcontinent.” Constructed between 1442 and 1459, the mosque reflects remarkable historical architecture. Next, visit the Mausoleum of Khan Jahan Ali, an active place of worship. The tomb retains its original domed ceilings, and the entrance cenotaph is adorned with colorful tiles inscribed with Quranic verses, typically covered with a red cloth embroidered in gold. Upon arrival in Khulna, check in at the hotel. Lunch and dinner will be served at a local or oriental restaurant. Overnight stay at the hotel in Khulna.
Day-7: Khulna – Dhaka (approx. 230 km and 5-6 hours’ drive)
