Facilities |
Ans: This package includes accommodation, all meals, internal transportation, museum and palace tickets and local guides.
Ans: We have 8 rooms available. (7 couple bedrooms and 1 single room). If you wish to share the room then please let us know, and we will adjust the billing accordingly.
Ans: Yes, this is going to be a guided tour. Our expert guides will walk you through the historic archaeological finds of the Barind and elucidate their significance.
Ans: You need to pay 50% advance to book. The rest of the amount shall be paid two days before the trip. Also, we accept bank transfers only.
Ans: We will be accepting bank transfers for package purchasing, so there's no need to carry cash for that purpose. However, if you plan to shop or incur additional expenses beyond the package, you will need to carry Bangladeshi currency. Please note that ATM booths or digital transfer options may not be available in some areas. In such cases, our tour guide will assist you in finding a local money exchange.
Ans: Additional costs will apply for any additional activities, such as shopping at Sopura Silk Mill or purchasing local snacks, which are not included in the package. Moreover, transport to and from Rajshahi is not covered in the package and will be an extra expense. But if you want us to, we can help you with the booking.
Ans: Our entire itinerary is carefully designed with a Risk Management matrix to ensure a safe and secure Otithi experience. While we strive to minimise all risks and provide a safe journey, please note that our responsibility is limited to the duration of the Otithi tour and does not extend to your external travel plans.
Ans: Yes, this whole travel plan of Otithi is Child-friendly but we do have some limitations with our resources as well. For instance, we might not find a breastfeeding corner everywhere, as this trip plan includes a lot of walking and boat rides, we would recommend you to be cautious with your child. Also, let us inform you that our tour guides are great at dealing with kids. So, they will attend to your kid very humbly. So, not only you but also your kid is going to enjoy this trip a lot.
Ans: We aim to be transparent about our current limitations. Due to our limited resources, accessibility for people with disabilities may not be consistent across all locations. However, we are committed to providing an exceptional experience and will make every effort to accommodate your needs and comfort as much as possible.
Ans: We assure that hygiene is well-managed at the BRAC Learning Centre, with no complaints anticipated in that regard. However, during visits, the level of cleanliness may vary depending on the location. Our tour guides will make every effort to find you a hygienic place whenever possible.
Ans: Many of the locations included in your Otithi experience involve interactions with local communities and visits to historical and religious sites. We kindly ask that you show respect for the local cultures and traditions. Please ensure that your actions do not offend the people or sentiments of the community. Smoking is strictly prohibited within temple premises. We recommend covering your shoulders and knees, avoiding revealing or tight clothing, and removing your shoes before entering religious or sacred spaces.
Ans: If you believe that your actions or words may have unintentionally offended someone, and you feel uncomfortable about it, please inform our tour guide. They are trained to handle such situations with care and will do their best to resolve the matter respectfully.
Ans: Our tour guides will primarily conduct the tour in the local language. However, if you're more comfortable with English, they will be happy to communicate with you in English. |

Ans: Our package does not cover travel insurance. But if you consider having to, you can get one personally.
Ans: Please inform us of any food allergies or dietary preferences that differ from the items in our package. This will allow us to determine if we can offer alternatives and notify you in advance.
Ans: Our visits involve interacting with many community members. Please be respectful, and seek permission before taking photos. If you agree, we may use your photos along with your testimonials on our social media. For this, we will request you to sign a consent form, and only with your permission will we publish the content.
Ans: Smoking inside the BRAC Learning Centre (BLC) and at museums and sacred sites is strictly prohibited. If you need a smoking break, please consult our tour guide to find an appropriate area where smoking is allowed. Kindly ensure that you dispose of your cigarette in a designated trash bin to maintain cleanliness and respect for the environment.
Ans: Please review our itinerary and inform us if you notice any aspects that might affect your medical conditions. This will help us take appropriate precautions with the facilities we have available.
Ans: Since the itinerary features many local delicacies, customising it may be challenging. However, we will do our best to ensure you have a pleasant experience.
Ans: This experience involves walking through various locations, but while none of the visits will be overly exhausting, it’s important to be mentally prepared and physically fit for a few hours of walking. We will be going on a boat ride as well. So, please let us know if you have motion sickness.
Ans: You are welcome to bring as much luggage as you can comfortably manage on your own. Please note that you can leave your luggage in your reserved room at the BRAC Learning Centre (BLC) while you're out on visits. During the excursions, we recommend travelling light, as the experience involves a lot of walking and boat rides.
Ans: Please make sure you get your COVID-19 vaccination done before coming to the trip.
Ans: We have a ‘Boat ride at Padma’ segment included in our itinerary. We will take a boat ride to a “Char” in Padma where we will experience the beautiful sunset. If you do not prefer to participate in this activity, please communicate with us in advance, and we will make alternative arrangements for you.
Ans: Yes, if you leave any belongings at the BRAC Learning Centre (BLC), our tour guide will do their best to locate and return them to you. However, if an item is lost during the visits, we will make every effort to assist you, but we cannot guarantee its recovery.
Ans: Surely you can. Yet please don’t forget to ask for permission from community people and other teams accompanying you during the trip before taking photos of them.
Ans: While there won't be a designated professional photographer for the trip, our tour guides will be more than happy to take photos for you. They are well-trained in capturing the beauty and aesthetics of the locations, so you can trust them to help you create memorable images. Simply make a request, and they’ll assist you. Additionally, please note that photos and videos will be taken throughout the journey for documentation purposes, and some may be published on our social media and website. If you have any concerns about your photos being used, please let us know in advance, and we will ask you to sign a consent form to respect your preferences.
Ans: If you have issues with any of your photos posted on our social media and website, please let us know. We will take effective action at our earliest convenience.
Ans: Sure! You can absolutely post any of the pictures taken throughout your experience. However, you are requested to keep in consideration the fact that these photos can be used only for personal use. They are preferred not to be used for commercial purposes.
