Luggage packing can be stressful, especially during flights because most passengers do not figure out airline restrictions. Today, our comprehensive guide aims to provide essential cabin baggage rules. So let’s get started and make your baggage management easier by understanding carry on luggage rules along with luggage weight limit issues.
The Air Baggage Rules of Bangladesh
The National Board of Revenue (NBR) governs air baggage rules in Bangladesh. These rules apply to all passengers entering or leaving the country by air. The rule stands to ensure a smooth and hassle-free travel experience.
Baggage Rules of Domestic Flights in Bangladesh
For domestic flights within Bangladesh, the regulations differ depending on the airline. Now let's outline the standard regulations set by NBR. National agencies like Biman Bangladesh Airlines follow the same rules for their flights.
- Economy class allows 2 checked bags, each weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs) with a combined dimension of 158 cm (62 inches).
- Business class passengers enjoy 2 checked bags, each up to 32 kg (70 lbs) and 158 cm (62 inches) combined.
Baggage Rules for Unaccompanied Baggage
Unaccompanied baggage has different rules. That means items shipped separately from the passenger may require some extra formalities, which includes maximum weight limitation, item count, and additional baggage.
- Maximum weight: 100 kg (220 lbs)
