Bandarban is a district in Bangladesh's south-eastern Chittagong Division. It is one of Bangladesh's three hill districts and a part of the Chittagong Hill Tracts, along with Rangamati District and Khagrachhari District.
Bandarban is the hometown of the current Bohmong Chief (King, or Raja, U Cho Prue Marma) who is the head of the Bohomong Circle.
Bandarban is as one of the most attractive and exotic travel destinations in Bangladesh as this place allows you to enjoy yourself at the peak of the mountain in between the fluffy clouds.
It takes only three hours to reach Bandarban from Chattogram. If someone starts their ride from Chattogram early in the morning at around 7:00 AM, then will hopefully reach there by 10am. So it will be an ideal pick for you to go to Bandarban for a day trip from Chattogram.

Chimbuk Hill
The Chimbuk Hill provides a spectacular view of the surrounding mountain landscape, which is lush with greenery and chilled by a cool breeze. Chimbuk Hill allows tourists a hilltop view from above, among the floating clouds which melts people’s heart with joy.
On a sunny day Chimbuk Hill reveals a different view to the tourists amid the vast horizon of hills formed in the rhythm of a massive wave. It is a breath-taking sight to behold and experience.
Chimbuk hill is also known as Bangladesh’s Darjeeling for its view.
Shoilo Propat Waterfall
Shoilopropat is only about 4-5 kilometers from Bandarban. This is just off the road and is a popular tourist destination for Bandarban visitors (especially who are doing family trip). There are several local shops nearby where you can purchase local crafts such as shawls, wooden crafts, and many other items.
Shoilopropat is known for its small water stream surrounded by hills and forest. While visiting Shoilopropat, be cautious as the rocky areas are mostly slippery. If you are not careful, you might slide and cause an accident (especially during rainy season). Make sure not to stay bare foot while walking over the rocks.
Golden temple of Buddha Dhatu Jadi on top of Zadi Hill
The famous Golden Temple of Buddha Dhatu Jadi is famous as “Swarna Mandir”. This Theravada temple is one of the largest Buddhist Temple for which throughout the year there are plenty of visitors.
This famous temple is situated near Balaghata which is nearly 9 kilometres away, allowing a magnificent view of the area from the top.
You just have to pay a small entry fee to visit and enjoy the amazing architecture and sight. The temple's gates, railings, and dome are all covered in golden motifs and murals.
You can take many pictures and take them back home as memories.
Meghla Parjatan Complex
Visit to this amazing tourist spot will give you a calm and soothing feeling for its beauty. You can roam around and capture the memories of this picturesque place to share with you friends and family. This park got two hanging bridges which are beautiful and fun to cross. You can enjoy boating and calm yourself with the soothing sound of splashing water of the lake. The complex got a mini zoo as well which is quite attractive for kids and the most interesting part is the cable car, but it covers a really short distance. You won’t find any restaurants inside the complex but there are few snack items available close by.
